Correcting multiple Windows Live IDs

http://www.winsupersite.com/paul/mailbag/100927.asp

The steps, as I understand them, are:

1. Recover your new live.com and gamertag to your Xbox 360 (if it's not already configured that way).

2. Change the Live ID associated with the gamertag to an unrelated, third, Live ID. You might need to create one temporarily just for this purpose.

(At this point, the (new) Live ID should have no gamertag associated with it.)

3. Sign out of your (new) Live ID-based account on the Xbox 360.

4. Sign in with the old Live ID and use the process from Step #2 to change the gamertag from the old Live ID to the new Live ID.

Done! And it seems to work perfect. The Xbox support lady was very helpful.

Yahoo IMAP

Just thought i'd share here a little how-to for Android users.

The steps below have to be followed with 3G Turned on and WiFi turned off.

Go to Mail icon
Enter in your Yahoo email address and password
Choose the option "Manual Setup" at the bottom left corner

In the incoming server setting, entering as followed :
- Username: xxx@... (enter in your complete yahoo email address)
- Password: enter in your yahoo password account
- IMAP Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 143
- Security Type: None
- IMAP Path Prefix: leave blank / Optional

Press next to continue with SMTP Server. Once on that screen, enter in these
settings

SMTP: smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 587
Security Type: None
Check "required Sign-In"
Username: xxx@...
Password: your email password
Now click through next and fill out the name, etc.
